Red cabbage conundrum...what can I do that's light?

Will this taste good just sauteed? Can I make a light soup with it? Some kind of cold salad?

I also have: pork back bones, onions, leeks, lemons, cheese, and some white turkey meat. Any ideas? I eat boiled cabbage all the time, but am not so sure about boiled red cabbage.
