Recs for a different set of teenagers, incl. one picky one

I eat everything and so will my husband (unless if it's lobster or shrimp due to an allergy). WE have a new challenge though!

My younger cousins-in-law are coming into town for a visit. The 13 year old is a picky eater while the 17 year old is not. Definitely not vegetarian. Would like them to have a NY experience. Good pizza and a French bistro (who can turn down steak frites?) come to mind. At the same time, us adults would like to enjoy ourselves, too! We also need to stay within a reasonable budget (entrees should stay in the $15-20 range and no more).

On their itinerary:
Liberty/Ellis Island
Central Park
Times Square (have Trattoria TreColori booked for that)

Other possibilities would be Chinatown, Washington Square.

Help!
