Long time lurker looking for a bit of advice. I'll be in Chicago with my SO the first weekend of April, and am looking for some recommendations. It'll be my second trip to Chicago, but my SO's first visit to the city. We'll be flying into O'Hare at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, and flying out on Sunday around 6 p.m. We're staying at the Godfrey Hotel and will be relying on public transit/Uber to get around.
I've done a bit of reading here, and have a few ideas as to where we'd like to go. We're from Toronto, so probably wouldn't be going out of our way for Asian food (will probably have to give Fat Rice a pass), but otherwise up for anything. Budget is pretty flexible as well, but we'd like to keep most meals in the low-mid price range. I was hoping to go to Jam, the Purple Pig, North Pond (Sunday brunch), either the French Market or Revival Food Hall, and a pizza place. Possibly Topolobampo for lunch on Friday as well, and maybe Boca for dinner. Anything else you'd highly recommend?
