Recommended food-stops post-Birthright

GraceW | Feb 16, 201806:43 PM     2

Greetings, I am extending my Birthright trip (in June) to visit family in Israel. Therefore, I should have some time to eat/shop on my own. I will be doing a lot of research, but I figured I would also ask here for any 'must-try' spots in Israel. All of my relatives live near Tel Aviv (although I believe we'll be going around Jerusalem during the trip itself). (Also just to clarify, I am not like a college kiddo going on Birthright; I am on the newly created 'old crew' trip for 27-32 year olds... so drinks/bars are fine too.) --Cheers! Thank you.
