Help! I am visiting boston for one night this coming friday. I need dinner recommendations. 4 of us are from the San Francisco area and love good food/wine. But, we are meeting up with my sister and 5-year-old nephew who are local. We are staying at Nine Zero. We want to go someplace walking distance and ideally some place fun, Boston-ny, not to expensive, okay to talk and with a child, BUT still good food and wine. My sister's suggestions thus far have been:
Can't get a reservation at summerhsack. Jacob wirth looked interesting but german food is too heavy for the heat expected on friday (temps in the mid 90's). cheers bar and durgin park seem too touristy. I suggested legal seafood but that is also touristy/chain and too expensive.
