Looking for recommendations in downtown Toronto

Byanca | May 2, 201907:40 AM     12

Hi there great community!

We are two Montrealers coming for a short visit in your beautiful city.
We are staying near Dundas square and will be going to the Toronto Reference Library at Bloor/Yonge and in Kensington Market. We will be looking to have:
- Quick lunch upon arrival near Dundas Square or Bloor/Yonge
- Dinner around Kensington Market or downtown
- Breakfast anywhere not too far
- Snacks and/or lunch rec to bring and eat on our road trip back

We will be on foot and/or public transport. I know there are gems outside the downtown area, but we will be staying only 24 hours so we will have to come back for those ;)
Also, in our previous visits we have loved Bar Isabel, the Black Hoof (RIP) and Momofuku Noodle Bar. We generally prefer casual to fancy.
Thank you!
