I bought some Marcona Almonds yesterday and DH has not stopped raving about them. We're going to a wine tasting event at a friend's house next month featuring wines from Australia and New Zealand. I'd like to bring an appetizer that would incorporate the almonds. The hosts usually have a cheese board as well as other apps made with cheese, so I'm thinking of making something that doesn't have cheese or very little cheese. I did find a recipe for almonds and olives, but I'd like something with more effort involved. I appreciate any suggestions you may have.
