To be clear, I have no affiliation w/ the linked website but just wanted to pass along what seems like a treasure chest of recipes. Some of you probably know about Recipe Hound already, but I've been finding myself there more recently and thought I'd pass it along for those that aren't familiar w/ it. How can a chowhound cook not like a site w/ the word "hound" in it?
I have been particularly impressed w/ their extensive collection of recipes covering Viet cuisine. There are many simple home-style food recipes that, at a glance, look fairly traditional to me. Some recipes are culled from popular cookbooks like "Authentic Vietnamese Cooking" by Corinne Trang.
Beyond Viet cuisine, they have lots of recipes that cover dishes from many, many other countries. I really like how the non-English name of the dish is given in parentheses at times. Even their bread and ice cream recipe collections look good! Only downside that I see is that there's no comprehensive search function so one has to have patience to scan. And, of course, recipe quality will vary. But another one to consider adding to your "favorites" and another free online resource that we can all rejoice in. Happy cooking!
