I'm making fund butternut squash baked with oil and maple syrup. I just realized I don't have it and can't run to the store, I'm cooking for a bunch of people! What can I use instead? Regular syrup?? Ughhhh I was so excited about this cause it's so easy! I have honey, agave,sage....etc but I really wanted it to have that nice maple taste! Any suggestions?. I need it by Now!! Thanks so much! I should have looked before I went to the store......typical me :) normally I would just improvise but because we have company I don't want to mess it up! I already cubed and diced the squash!
