Reattaching stainless steel pot bottom

ablyth | Aug 22, 201808:41 PM     17

I have a stainless steel pot which, after being exposed to high heat for too long, had the bottom fall off. It's a thicker, heavier piece of metal which was attached to the main body of the pot with some type of adhesive (see photo). Is there some kind of glue I should use to reattach the bottom? I'd need something good for metal-to-metal adhesion, holds up to typical cooking temperatures, and able to withstand some water exposure. Any suggestions? Thank you!
