Is there any reason that would make this a bad idea?

I was planning on a assembling the filling for a chicken pot pie tonight. This is a one crust topper chicken pot pie, so I was planning on assembling the filling, pouring it into the dish that it will be cooked in, and refrigerating over night to be baked tomorrow night. I would hold off putting the pie crust on until right before baking. Is there any reason that the filling would be compromised sitting in the refrigerator over night?
