Does anyone else find it deceptive and disappointing when a restaurant has a menu item with the term "wild mushrooms" in it that you order only to find they used shiitake or portobello in the item. These are NOT wild they are cultivated. On a side note we are entering the heart of REAL wild mushroom season. I was at the farmer's market on the park blocks in PDX on Wednesday and a booth had Chanterelles (a huge pile), Lobsters, and "Porcinis" Boletes. I bought some Chanterelles, and Boletes. Both were freshly harvested, worm free and about half the price of what you would pay at Whole foods.
