I hope someone can help me out. My father for years worked as a Deli man and he made by far the best tasting Hot Corned beef sandwhiches I have ever tasted. As a child I would watch him prepare the corned beef but really never knew what he put in that boling water that made that beef taste sooo good. All I remember is seeing a small pouch being dropped in the water containing several spices, but I dont know what they were. I would appreciate anyone posting what those spices could be.
