real cheese in NJ?

Daphne | Jul 13, 2005 11:45 PM

I stumbled upon a place in Morris County last week that knocked my socks off. It was a sheep creamery. yes, here in NJ.... they had a real shop with several cheeses made on the premises, mostly from their sheep's milk and some aged in their cave. I thought I was in France for a little while. Then it dawned on me that these are the same people i used to buy cheese from in the Madison farmers market some years ago. This facility which must be the biggest in the country. They milk a few hundred dairy sheep right there !
I dont know. maybe I dreamt this. This can't be NJ. we only build houses here...but i found their website so I guess its real.
