Many years ago Dean and Deluca sold a raspberry chocolate tart that I've been looking for ever since. Maybe someone has a recipe that I could use to replicate it.
The tart crust was very dark, made of not very sweet cookie crumbs(?), a lot like a cheesecake crust, but with a strong dark, chocolate taste. There was a very little bit of cream, just a smear, to hold the raspberries in place. It may have been more than just whipped cream and did not make the bottom crust wet. The raspberries were not glazed.
Any ideas or suggestion? Recipes? Have you seen it sold anywhere in NYC?
