Decided to make marinara sauce instead of using bottled sauce (an unfortunate combination of lack of time and still developing chowhoundiness) and made some using san marzano tomatoes. I basically used the recipe for Rao's marinara sauce. The sauce is so much better that what can be found bottled (rao's included). I can't recommend it enough for an easy meal during the week to make the sauce and have it with pasta and bread and whatever else you want. So simple to make, less expensive than buying the bottled sauces, and so much better. No more bottled sauce for me.
