We ordered dinner online, chose a pick up time 30 minutes later and my husband went to pick up our dinner. All good so far. Went quickly downhill from there.
When he arrived he was told they didn't have our order. The gentleman checked his smartphone, clearly noticed our order for the first time and said 'Oh. Ok, it will be 15 minutes'. My wonderfully patient husband went next door to grab a coffee and when he came back 15 minutes later he was told it would be another 10 minutes.
After a total of almost 30 minutes since my husband arrived (and an hour after our order was placed), they called me *at home* to say our dinner was ready for pickup. I said 'can you please let my husband know that - he's been there for almost 30 minutes'. The snippy answer: 'He's been here for 15 minutes'. So, leaving aside the B.S. comment on timing, one might ask: why did you call me if you know he's been standing there waiting??
When my husband went to pay he looked at them and said 'So, *anything* you'd like to do to compensate for the poor service tonight?' The answer: 'No'.
To add insult to injury, when he paid with cash they didn't have enough change in the register and they shorted him by $0.25. He looked at the woman and said 'Really? You're seriously short changing me?' She just shrugged her shoulders and said 'Sorry'.
It's unfortunate - the food is actually quite good, but service like that is just unacceptable.
