We are remodeling our kitchen. For years we have cooked on an old gas Chambers, with three eyes, one oven and a deep well (a fabulous feature, by the way). We plan to keep using the Chambers, but want a new range, in addition. We would like a 36" dual fuel range. Have looked at Wolf, DCS, Blue Star, Thermidor, Viking, et al. I would very much appreciate the opinions of you in the Chowhound world as to the positives and negatives of the ranges with which you are familiar. I cook just about every kind of cuisine; I need a unit that can sear, braise, bake, roast, broil, and simmer, and perform well. The two things I do not want in a range are a griddle and a grill. I thank you for responses in advance.
