When I visit my son and his family, I want to make some recipes that he liked when he was young. One is a ground beef and ramen noodle dish that calls for two 3 oz packages of ramen soup and seasoning packets. Now that I've read so many bad things about ramen, I want to substitute something that's healthier, especially for the 18 mo. old. Is there a brand you know of that is considered healthier? I read somewhere to use thin whole wheat pasta or vermicili. Then what seasonings should I use? I would appreciate any suggestions. TIA.
