A few nights ago I was eating at one of the fine establishments at Creedmoore Crossings (corner of Creedmoore and Millbrook Rd) in Raleigh. A rat scampered from the parking lot into the outside dining area (if you're familiar with that shopping center than you know it's the only one there with an outside dining area). This is one of my favorite places, I don't want to taint their name, but they said that this was not the first time this has happened (the rats don't seem to make it inside). I blame the Hardee's across the parking lot.
I don't feel like the sanitary quality of my food was at risk, but I've heard of this happening and people getting free meals as a result. My meal however was not free. Do the sanitation graders downgrade places for having rats on the outside of the building?
