I am a Phila CH (in exile from NY) seeking advice from other CHs.
My wife is running a garden trip for the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the Hardy Plant Society. She and a friend are going later this week to scout out gardens (and restaurants). The actual trip is next year, in the summer sometime.
They are planning on staying at the Sheraton (S. Salisbury St.) both times. They like to have a choice of restaurants for the ladies of the HPS (and the odd tagalong male) where people can walk if they want. Taxi ride for a special place is also within scope.
The restaurants don't need to be hip. The group has an average age between 60 and 70. They want to eat well and comfortably, but not necessarily very much. A variety of price ranges would be much appreciated.
We would welcome any suggestions any of you have, so they can walk by, read the menus, stick their heads inside, and probably try two or three of them this week. Thanks in advance.
