Had lunch at Rabieng yesterday when I couldn't find the Full Kee. (Thanks, Jamie D for posting a more precise location.)

Food was good, but I have a question about the service. There were five of us; 4 of us ordered apps and a main dish, the fifth member of the group ordered just a main. They brought everything out one plate at a time, with odd spaces of "no food delivery" in between each dish. They did this with first all the apps, and then all the mains. I am assuming that they brought them out as they were finished in the kitchen. Is this normal for Rabieng?

I feel odd in "complaining" that the food wasn't held in the kitchen until the other dishes were ready -- trust me, I'd rather have the food placed before me as soon as possible after it was made, but the end result was a lunch that verged on too long. It also strikes me as odd that a restaurant kitchen can only produce one dish at a time ...

Comments? Similar or different experiences to relate?
