the buzz, plus the need to fix my tenant's disposal (again) got me over to berkeley a couple times recently to try indus village.
first, i love the murals!
second, i love the naan. served fresh, a little crisp on the outside, and hot, moist, and chewy on the inside. long live carbs.
the tandoori chicken was good, but the curries were lackluster, particularly the lamb. surprisingly, i found the spicing to be weak, and the lamb chunks were dried out inside.
the menu is rather limited as well. too bad, i was hoping to love it. to continue to show pakistani solidarity, i'm going to have to go back and retry 'mughal' around the corner next time.
