I recently discovered La Maison du Pain on W. Pico Blvd. near Hauser. The quiche was so magnificent I couldn't stop ooohing and aaahing! The ham in the Lorraine is not salty, but tastes wonderful and has a slight kick to it. You can tell it's made with fresh eggs and cream. Hard to decide what's better, the filling or the crust. Magnifique! The lattes there are great, the croissants spectacularly rich and flaky. Eggs perfectly poached and there's a wonderful array of great breads and pastries.
