Questions from a transplanted Torontonian

Hi all,

I'm a (happily) relocated Torontonian, and after 6 months in Montreal am starting to get my culinary bearings. This board has been invaluable in discovering some amazing meals in Montreal. There are a few lingering cravings though, that I hope you can help solve!

Where can I find the best:

Bun Bo (Vietnamese bowl of vermicelli with thinly slice grilled beef):
There seems to be a lot of Vietnamese restuarants, but I'm not keen on testing them all as the bad ones are pretty bad!

Thai Delivery:
I tried Chuch via À la Carte Express and it was terrific but very pricey ($60 for 2, no leftovers!)

Indian Delivery:
I tried Nouveau Delhi and found it almost inedible - I've heard good things about Lumière de L'Inde, anyone want to second that?

Ethiopian Food
I loved Ethiopia House in Toronto but not sure where to go in Montreal

Tuscan Food
My favourite restaurant in Toronto is a Tuscan place called Tutti Matti (must try if you're in Toronto www.tuttimatti.com), looking for something as authentic.

So far, loved the burgers at La Paryse, been mildly impressed by asian-fusion at KoKo, enjoyed brunch at Le Cartet and Café Méliès, and had great dinners at Le Local, Chez L'Epicier, Chasse et Peche, L'Express and La Montée.

In terms of location, I'm downtown on St-Denis.

Thanks again for the great recommendations thus far. My stomach is happy with it's new home!

Ben
