two questions: Soy Pizza in Chicago? Sabra Salads in Chicago?

Person Personovich | Apr 6, 200311:22 PM

I'm having two cravings that seem to be difficult to satisfy in Chicago, as great a food town as it is:

1) I gave up dairy a year ago because it's so damned hard to digest. I crave pizza! Surely somebody makes soy cheese pizza? I'd have turned up my nose at the idea but soy cheese is better than it used to be, as evidenced by decent nachos and stuff at Chicago Diner. Leona's seems to offer this, but I've heard iffy reviews. Anywhere else?

2) They sell this stuff in New York, a brand called Sabra Salads. They make really delicious "vegetarian chopped liver" and while I've seen their baba ghanouj here, I've never seen the liver. Anyone noticed it in the grocery somewhere?

post or email, either's fine!
