Looking for Quail Eggs

curiositykt | Mar 31, 201108:51 AM     18

Hi -

I was at a Farmer's Market over the weekend up in NH and saw Quail Eggs and I can't stop thinking about them. I have no idea who or where they were from - but I want to try cooking with fresh (not canned) quail eggs.

Does anyone know where they can be found? I live a bit west of Boston, but I easily can drive anywhere within 45 miles or so of Boston to get them. I have some vague memory that the Giant Whole Foods at Fresh Pond had them, but since I moved a year ago, I haven't been in there to poke around the egg section in awhile.

Has anyone seen quail eggs recently?

Thanks!
Stephanie
