I Wish Q&A Would Go Away

MplsM ary | Feb 14, 201506:43 PM

I know I am beating a dead horse here but, I get angry when I see a Q&A topic for which I'd like to post an answer to the question, and am stymied by the Q&A format.

Usually I want to ask the original poster of a Q&A topic a question about what they are asking.

Sure, I could ask a "clarifying question," but since nobody can see clarifying questions (CQs) without knowing a CQ exists and there is no threading for CQs, I move on and don't post anything. So, a possibly brilliant answer (ok, small chance of that but you get the drift) is not to be had by the poster of a legit question, simply because they used the blasted Q&A format.
