Using pyro mode to cook?

hypumji | Nov 22, 201703:27 AM     2

Hi, question is in the title really. I want to make homemade pizzas but the max my oven will go is 250 C (482 F). Pyrolytic cleaning mode however, designed for cleaning the oven interior by burning all the stuff off, goes up to 400 C (752 F), a little closer to a pizza oven. Has anyone ever tried this (maybe not just for pizza) or have any thoughs about if it is safe or if the food will be ruined by anything that comes off the inside if the oven?
Additional question, would home pizza stones/steel be able to handle a temperature that high? I imagine they might warp/crack
