I have heard too many horror stories of Pyrex exploding, rather it has been heated or just sitting, to continue to use mine. I am very concerned that my infant daughter could be injured if this were to occur. We have Pyrex we use everyday for storage/re-heating, casserole dishes used often for baking and of course measuring cups. My mind is make up about getting rid of the Pyrex but my question is, what would be suitable to replace it? We don't prefer to use plastic even for storage and definitely don't reheat in it and I don't know what we would use for a liquid measuring cup.
We have stone wear and ceramic in various shapes/sizes for baking but the measuring cups and storage/re-heating have me stumped.
Grateful for any suggestions!
