Have a smoker that's in regular use and would like a light duty food slicer for slicing sandwich meats (Pork, Chicken, Beef), bacon slabs, cabbage for slaw, bread, etc.. Slicing cheese isn't really needed, but might be nice. Manual is probably preferred over automatic (more bang for buck). I'm trying to keep around a $500 budget or less (could go over with shipping and tax). Don't know much about slicers, but am looking at these as options (see links in order of preference below). Not really sure that I need a 12" as I think a 10" would be more than adequate for home use. Would appreciate any insights, opinions, and of course suggestions. Thanks in advance.
