Hi folks! I'm just learning to cook, and I'd appreciate your expert advice on something.
Every time I use purchased puff pastry (the frozen stuff, thawed in the fridge), it turns out all flat, gummy and greasy - it doesn't turn out light and flaky. I don't think I'm overworking the dough or anything - I just roll it out until it's the size that the recipe tells me it should be.
What am I doing wrong?
