i've read a few reviews on here about this place that got me curious, and since it's nearby, the fiance and i gave it a try tonite. from the outside it looks like a run~down diner. (pretty much surrounded by factories)the fiance, who can be, ummm, more discerning than me, wanted to get the hell out of there, lol. but alas we went in. sat ourselves in a booth. it smelled REALLY good in there. after about 5 minutes, a bored looking teenager brought our menus. about 10 minutes later he came back to take our order. he barely spoke english, so that was a bit of a problem. we had to go over our orders again and again to make sure they were correct. we didn't mind at all. we ordered the samosas to start, were told they were not available. so we ordered the potato pakoras, which our waiter interpreted as the chicken pakoras. took a while to straighten that one out. i ordered the butter chicken w/rice, fiance got the 1/2 tandoori chicken w/rice, with an order of nan. waiter brings out fiance's tandoori chicken. no rice. no nan. just a small salad on the side. since we were starving, we both munched on it. 10 minutes later he brings out my butter chicken, our rice, and our nan. 5 minutes later he brings out the potato pakoras (up to that point, we believed he'd forgotten them.)

well, the food was wonderful. ALL of it. just so good! we stuffed our faces, and had enough left over to bring home for tomorrow.

service was kinda crappy. pretty bad language problems with our waiter, and he rolled his eyes at us a few times. but the food was excellent, and the price was right! i would recommend this place. anyone else want to share their experiences? next time, we would like to order less "standard" fare, any recommendations? thanks!!!
