I just wanted to let all of the other chowhounds out there know that theres finally a place to get really great pulled pork in Chicago, well actually you have to go to Glenview. Im a NYC food snob and I lived in NC for four years, also married to a Tennessean so Ive eaten lots of BBQ all over the south. I moved to Chicago fro NYC almost 3 years ago and immediately started to hunt down good pork; well let me cut to the chase, as I have been known to drag a story out. Flight in The Glen has the best pulled pork that Ive had north of the Mason-Dixon Line. I almost never believe a waiter that says the house smokes it own pork and makes its own BBQ sauce, but they do and do it right! Even if they dont smoke it the sauce is 100% right on with a gourmet touch to warm any jaded food snob. You can also order up some good wine flights to accompany your hog. Ill never again say theres not any good food in the burbs.
