Pueblo Viejo!

A lot of folks were wondering about the new Mexican place Pueblo Viejo @ 5722 Melrose. Went tonight and can report a successful transition to the new restaurant. We were waited on by Javier who was WONDERFUL. Ask for him. Loves his job, the food and the place. They have a full bar with every high end tequila, including the $30 a shot ones I didn't order. But the special margarita was awesome ($7.50). I had a combo with a mole enchilada and my favorite chile rellano, rice/beans/soup.It was really tasty and only $10. An order of chicken tacos with the same was 6.95. Ambiance is dark and cozy. Total bill was $45, food $20 and $25 for 3 drinks. Will definately be back regularly. Always looking for decent Mexican food in Hollywood.

BTW, this Saturday is their official grand opening and they are serving free margaritas for a while.
