proud to admit I like crab/shrimp louie's

so there. but the dressing can be so awful - I make my own at home but am wondering if there have been any recent good experiences out there in SoCal restaurants, preferably greater L.A.?

My definition is pretty broad, so any big shellfish main course salad with a lot of greens and some kind of piquante dressing will do. Cheesy 1970's catamaran decor even better.
