Saturday evening, planning on stopping at Solano Cellars for a flight, but upon arrival, discovering they were putting on a special menu at the bar... we were off. First stop, down to Britt-Marie for a glass of a crisp white wine. Damage - about $10 plus a tip. A great start to the evening. Then I decided to peek in 6 Degrees, which I've been wanting to do for awhile - and we sat at the teeny bar on stools. Cosmos - 2 for $6 - can't go wrong, and they were delicious. Ordered 2 small plates - saffron rice croquettes (yum) and mini sirloins on toast (extra yum). Damage - $20 plus tip. Then back down the street, to Nizza la Bella - time for Pizza. They were very tasty, but too much $ for what they were. Yet, still delicious - with a glass of a rose. And then, a 15 minute walk home. All in all, a pleasant Saturday night. I was most impressed with the small plates at 6 Degrees - if their big plates are as good, it will be a big winner in my book.
