How to Prepare Scapes

Just returned from the revived UWS farmer's market. Whoever said it was four dreary bridge tables with wilted produce must have arrived late in the day or needs to check their lens prescription. It's small, but with glorious fruit, produce, herbs, and fresh farm eggs.
Bought some scapes and would like suggestions on what to do with them--preferably simple, to reveal true flavor. I see there was a thread on scapes about a month ago, but I'm unable to locate it either searching Chowhound or with the Google advanced search feature.
Could someone either pass along the highlights of that thread or tell me how I might access it.
