Pre-seasoned Cast Iron for broiler

borisabrams | Sep 2, 201912:36 PM     11

Hi there!

So my new oven has a broiler and i am super excited to use it. I have never had one before and almost had an accident with a pyrex dish under the broiler!

I was wondering if something like a pre coated non-stick cast iron pan would work (Im thinking like for a tuna casserole and using the broiler for melting the cheese at the end. Or what about an Aluminum Foil Tray/baking dish? Are they safe at such high heats?

Thanks!
