Prague and Vienna recommendations with baby?

bunnylicious | Jun 5, 2012 08:27 PM

Hi everyone,

Husband and I will be traveling with our daughter who will be almost 6 months old to Prague and Vienna at the end of July. I am looking for recommendations in both cities for baby-friendly places to eat.

We are mostly looking to try local dishes and snacks, like roast pork, sausage, fried cheese, schnitzel, etc. . And, of course, the pastries! We prefer more casual places for dinner, cafes for breakfast, markets... A few recommendations for non Czech/Viennese cuisine would also be appreciated, though we will be going to Rome for the last part of our trip, so no italian.

Of course, hubby will also want to sample the beer :)

Key for me is to find places that are baby-friendly; otherwise, I think there are plenty of delicious sounding recommendations on the board. Our daughter seems to do well at restaurants here at home (Toronto).

I tried doing a search on the boards but did not find anything - if I missed something, a link to relevant thread(s) would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)
