Pradeep's Indian review

roastingjoe | Apr 26, 200611:21 PM

Generally, I prefer to have postive postings, but here I must take exception. Pradeep's Indian experience was simply an overpriced ripoff. One order of Samosas (two very small pieces) was plain and uneventful. The chutneys on the side were fine. We ordered one Tandoori Chicken, paid extra for white meat but got dark anyway, very dry and again plain for Indian. Other dishes included Beghan Barta and Aloo Gobi (spelling?). More sauce than vegatables. Not very good. Mild was bland, medium was less than mild. Raita was cool mint with a little yogurt. Nan, tough to blow this, was almost inedible. The only thing more surprising than its taste (re:lack of) was the size, like Grandma's potato pancake, which sounds damn good to me about now. Price for this insulting dinner for two (no drinks)....$55 not including tip. Akbar from now on.
