powells liver & onion

hey ya'll, I haven't read any posts about Powells over on Eddy and I don't know about the fried chicken (altough the 2 that got it were very impressed) but I can say that the liver & onions were amazingly delicious...I don't cook and so I don't understand the nuances of french liver vs american vs southern vs whatever but I do know that even for places that I have tried it in the south- that this is the best non-home cooked version I have had....

anyway, if there are any other southerners who are having a hankering for some liver&onions, smothered in a brown gravy with some cornbread and black-eyed peas- head on over to Powells...
