I'm sure the is-there-anything-decent-in-Times-Square question has been beat to death -- in fact I know it has, since I've just spent quite a while searching and reading threads... but still can't find anything I'm thrilled about, hope somebody can help.
2 of us coming in from out of town, first time without the 4-year-old since she was born, so we're looking forward to an adult meal.
Catching "A Behanding in Spokane" at 8:00, and since we're having a late lunch that day at Lupa, we figure we'll do dinner AFTER the show.
Upscale-ish is good, don't mind spending money, considering the occasion. Not too picky about type of cuisine (though after Lupa, would probably prefer non-Italian).... main thing is kick-ass food, and at least a semi-romantic atmosphere.
Theater is the Schoenfeld, (W 45th between Broadway & 8th). Since we're staying at 54th & Broadway, we'd really like to just walk, preferably find something in between. Or wander over to 9th? But staying on foot would be great.
Any suggestions much appreciated!
