Post Christmas Pilgrimmage Redux (Way Shorter This Time)

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your responses to my first post. You da man/woman!

Based on your comments, my perusal of Zagat's, Fodor's, Frommer's, Tom's, etc. and looking at menus, I'm pretty sure on four of our five dinners. High end
traditional-Galatoire's; high end creative-Brigtsen's; down home cajun-Bon Ton Cafe; and non-NO French bistro-Crepe Nanou. I had thought we might do K-Pauls for the fifth, but it was savaged in a post, and at K-P's prices I for sure don't want surly service and mediocre food. Jacques-Imo and Gabrielle both sound like great eats, but my 16-yo daughter also needs some atmosphere, so I'm nervous about choosing one of those two. Believe it or not, I'm almost tempted to go with Gumbo Shop if K-Paul's is really not worth the price. Dumb? Or maybe Lola for tapas? Also, thanks for the recommendation on Palace Cafe for Jazz Brunch. My daughter has requested one of these, and PC sounds better (and more reasonably priced!) than Commander's.

Any comments on the any of the above are more than welcome. Also I haven't gotten any feedback on whether Acme serves raw clams, whether Central still does a good mufuletta and if Mother's and Johnny's are fine for po boys. Don't be bashful now, y'hear!
