perhaps the answer is obvious, but here's the question anyway: was at the Ferry Building market today, and there was no line at all at the Acme bread stand at the market....but a very long line at the Acme store inside the building..Now of course I realize that there is a larger selection indoors, but if one is just going to get a sourdough batard, hot cross buns, or something else they have outside, (and I am sure many of the folks inside fall into that category, as the selection at the stand is really pretty good), why wait in line? Is the quality higher/ bread fresher inside? Is a little bit of drizzle really that discouraging? Or do people just see a line and figure it must be good?
I bought my items outside, did I make a mistake? (I am not a fan of waiting in line)..
