I'll be traveling to Porto for the first time soon and would appreciate recommendations. For most of my visit, I'll be wined and dined by my hosts. For the time on my own, I'd like to try traditional regional specialties in locals-type places. I gather I should try the local rendition of tripe --- what else is unique here?
I've scanned Pat Hammond's reports and scrolled down through a year's worth of posts and not come up with much that's current. Where would you send me for three dinners and two lunches?
