Portland's Few Unfriendly Food Biz Owners

opinionatedchef | Nov 8, 201507:36 PM     2

Have you experienced any? I admit, when I'm on vacation, enjoying myself, and I find a place with really good food, I want to give my enthusiastic feedback to the owner. I know how hard the food biz can be, and I figure there's rarely enough positive feedback out there, so I want to do my part! But sometimes, you meet up with an owner who you wish you hadn't met. Their workers may be positive and friendly, but they themselves are having a bad day, or whatever..... Well, both Tandem Bakery and Blue Rooster were those places during our week in Portland! Oh well, we still felt lucky to have their super food during our stay. And we'll gladly return to both places on our next visit.
