Old Port Lobster Shack report....

mm | Jun 8, 2006 01:28 PM

Tried Old Port Lobster Shack last night.
We had....

Fried Clams: It's very fresh, but the batter's taste is overpowering, can't taste the sweetness of the clam. It's very expensive. $20.75

Martha’s Vineyards Oyster: It's very fresh, but not so exciting. $9 for 1/2 DZ

Naked Lobster Roll: It's very good in general, especially the buttered bread. Lobster meat was mainly from the claw. I couldn't find any lobster meat from it's body. Slaw was good. Very small portion. $17.5

Pitcher of "sheep yard" (something like that) draft beer $12.

The total was $58.75 plus tax.

Overall, it's an ok restaurant to me. BUT it's way too expensive.
