I had the pleasure of dining at Port of Call on my way to Mobile on Monday. All I can say is WOW. The burger was amazing. I had a plain cheesburger cooked medium and it was done PERFECTLY. It reminded me a bit of the original Fuddrucker's in San Antonio where they would grind the meat right in front of you before it was grilled.
It fell apart and was perfectly seasoned. The only thing that kept this from perfection was the lack of fries. You get a baked potatoe instead.
I have been to quite a few burger houses in my time and this ranks near the top.
B.O.'s Bait Shack in Key West is the only other that comes to mind when I think of this type of burger.
