Admit I never went to Anna's as I think of it as a burrito joint and huge burritos don't appeal. OK so I was wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. At least about missing the pork in chile verde plate (not sure how it's listed on the menu but that must be close) (a friend picked it up takeout). Excellent spicy tender stew, good honest food. Good rice, passable beans, acceptable out-of-season pico de gallo, 2 corn tortillas way too steamed. Still, a tasty satisfying meal (+ leftovers) for a mere $4. Courtesy of a Mexican friend who swears the stew compares to her mother's (high praise, her mother's an excellent traditional cook).
